One of the Most Influential Persons of African Descent Under 40 (MIPAD) for 2018 under the category of 'Business & Entrepreneurship' and 2018 'NextGen Africa Investor' member of Invest Africa US, Zekarias is the Founder & MD of Ibex Frontier based in Washington DC, with presence in London and Addis Abeba.

Zekarias has been at the forefront of Ethiopia-focused investment advisory initiatives with extensive buy-side and sell-side tractions and strategic route-to-Ethiopian-Market advisory services to both local and international investors and entrepreneurs.   His work has attracted several awards including recognized by as 'Investment Connector' by Forbes Africa, awarded for being 'Outstanding Trade Advocate' for Ethiopia/Africa in 2018. In addition to various research and insights he provides through Ibex's Blog and speaking engagements, Zekarias has authored several articles around Investment opportunities and insights around Ethiopia/Africa and/or has media exposures including  the CNN, CGTN-America, Selamta, CGTN, Africa-Digest  and more.

A thoughtful Leader, Mentor and Advisor at his core, he is focused to accelerating deal flows and executions as well as inculcating the next generation of global leaders in investment connectology. 

Having worked in three continents ( Africa, Europe & North America), Zekarias is using his extensive international reach and deep local expertise in advising several international investors.

Zekarias is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant ( FCCA, U.K.) and holds MBA from the Oxford Brookes University. 

INVESTMENT ANALYST - BEREKET AMSALU

Bereket is an enthusiast in emerging markets and investment in Africa with a particular focus in Ethiopia. Having a strong passion and experience in working at various levels of investment advisory and deal sourcing, he links local businesses with potential international investors and partners.

Promoting technology in Finance, he enables high-quality Investment data easily accessible to stakeholders thereby facilitating service to partners. Bereket has built extensive experience in Ethiopia’s private sector and passionate about creating a strategic partnership with start-ups & entrepreneurs in search of International investors.  

Berket earned his MSc degree from SOAS, University London. He also has a UK chartered accountancy (ACCA) qualification.

Yoseph is a Chartered Certified Accountant with extensive experience in Banking in Ethiopia and Finance Controller & Private Equity experience in London, U.K.

Having worked for the London based Private Equity Africa and with his insightful knowledge, Yoseph currently advises Ibex Frontier as Ibex makes the case for bankable opportunities in Ethiopia and expand its operations.
